The Makita 6347D drill does not work.
I believe it is an issue with the trigger switch.
The drill has a 1/2-in keyless chuck, two speeds, and drill and driver settings.
It uses 18V Makita lithium-ion batteries.
The two shown are no good.
The DC18RC fast charger works fine and handles both Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries.
The motor seems fine and the brushes still have plenty of life in them.
The Makita fitted case has been modified a bit to fit everything.
