Powder Coating Line Manager

Rosco Vision Systems is seeking a Powder Coating Line Manager to join our team! The Powder Coating Line Manager will maintain the paint work flow and supervise the employees in the coating department.

Come build a long-term career that is rewarding and fun! *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES* * Reviews production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments for each shift and deliveries for next shipping day * Supervises the activities of the assigned department’s employees * Assures that equipment and booths are properly maintained for efficient production * Arranges to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained * Monitoring Painters for proper equipment set-up and transfer efficiency * Measure daily paint consumption verses square footage sprayed * Maintains good employee relations and takes proper and judicious disciplinary measures when required * Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices * Performs other duties as required or directed *QUALIFICATION & SKILLS* * High School Diploma or GED equivalency * Five to eight years of directly related experience, with at least two years’ experience as a supervisor * At least 5-10 years of powder coating experience * At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting * Computer Skills including Microsoft excel and word * Experience in supervising hourly personnel, customer contact, and effective relationships with staff and line department heads *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
